The Transasjia Express leaves every Wednesday night at Hydarpasa station, Istanbul. It takes 5 days to arrive in Ouetta Pakistan, crossing all Turkey and Iran.
In 2009 I travelled across Iran for three weeks during the period of Now-Ruz (New Year celebrations) trying to portray the positive atmosphere of the pre-electoral period of June 2009 that reconfirmed the power of Ahmadinejad.
